Andrew came to the Pennsylvania Baseball Academy fresh of an internship with the United States Olympic Committee in Colorado Springs, Colorado. As a member of the staff with U.S.A. Badminton, a national governing body, his focus was on finance, publications, membership, and customer service.

Prior to that internship, he was a student and employee at Temple University from 2003 to 2009. As an undergraduate student from 2003 to 2007, Andrew acquired a Bachelor’s of Science in Sport and Recreation Management as well as a minor in Business Management. During this time period, he held various positions within both Temple University and Villanova University's athletic departments. It was also during this time he met Dan Brady, a colleague within the Sport and Recreation Management major.

From 2007 to 2009, Andrew completed his graduate work at Temple University, acquiring a Master’s of Education in Sport Administration. During this time period, he was employed at Temple University’s School of Tourism and Hospitality Management, where he was both an adjunct professor and internship supervisor.
